We all know Samuel L Jackson from his numerous roles in blockbuster films dating back to the 90's; however, one thing many do not know is that he is the chairman for the One For The Boys charity located in England and Wales.
The OFTB charity focuses on cancer research and education focused at men, who usually only get awareness for testicular and prostate cancer. One of the tangential aims is to allow men the opportunity to open up about cancer, and seek treatment if their are early signs or symptoms, instead of shying away from the doctor because of the indestructible, alpha male attitude.
Donations are always welcome, but One For The Boys is taking things a step further and putting together a benefit show at Troxy in London on April 30th. All of the the ticket proceeds are going directly to charity. Upon entry, you will have the opportunity to experience performances by Seth Troxler, Jamie XX, Jillionaire and more. The event is being deemed a Black Tie Masquerave.
