Norwegian producer Kygo may still be somewhat new to the game, but he has swiftly taken the dance music world by storm. He just released his debut music video for the track "Firestone" featuring Conrad Sewell. The track is Kygo's first original production since "Laber Bris" and "Epsilon" and comes after a slew of successful remixes that went viral, including the remix of Ed Sheeran's, "I See Fire."
At the beginning of 2014 Kygo went on the first tour of his career, and at the end of 2014 Kygo played the main stage at TomorrowWorld in front of thousands of fans. It usually takes main stage artists years of touring before they are given that big of an opportunity. The combination of an original sound and consistency in producing huge tracks has taken Kygo from a relatively unknown artist to a superstar overnight.
However, these accomplishments only make up a small portion of his contributions to the electronic scene. In the fall of 2014 we partnered with Kygo to create a bracelet, which donates profits to Doctors Without Borders. This amazing foundation helps people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from health care. This collaboration has generated close to $15k in 6 short months with the help of Kygo’s celebrity and his amazing fans. These types of acts show a person’s true character. His desire to give back shines brightly on the dance music scene and all involved in these special projects..
