This fall marks the 5 year anniversary of Electric Family. This company started as a passion project out of our apartment in San Diego and blossomed into what it is today. When we started the company, we had no idea if it would last longer than a few months. My partners and I had other jobs, the type of jobs that actually paid us money, but we all loved dance music and wanted to express that through clothing and accessories.
About 8 months into the project things were moving very slowly and we were contemplating whether or not we wanted to keep going, but that's when we got our first big break. Two DJ/producers out of Montreal Canada decided to take a chance by collaborating with an unknown company on a bracelet product featuring their logo. The name of the duo was none other than Adventure Club, and that bracelet would go on to feature many of the worlds biggest DJ/producer acts. Once we saw some initial success with the Adventure Club launch, we knew we had made the right decision starting the company and never looked back.
Fast forward to today and we have donated close to $400,000 dollars to charities all around the world through more than 70 artist collaborations. We have packaged food for families in need, painted murals on walls in underserviced areas of Los Angeles, and donated toys to hundreds of kids who typically wouldn't have had access to them. None of this work could have been possible without you, our customer. We share these achievements equally and you should be proud of yourself for the impact we have made together.
Over the last few months, our team has been doing a lot of research into what you have been asking of us over the last 5 years. We know that you like high-quality products at affordable pricing and we have been trying to figure out ways to go above and beyond this call to serve you. Starting with our Fall 2017 collection and moving forward into the future, you will be introduced to a completely new era of Electric Family. This era will feature the same high-quality products at much more affordable pricing. You will have access to our $20 tee section, which will only feature.....you guessed it, $20 tees. What is even more exciting about this section is that you can bundle shirts together for bigger discounts. Two shirts will cost $38 and three will cost you $55. The final kicker, all shirts in all sizes will always be in stock. You won't ever have to worry about not being able to order your size.
