Back around 4th of July weekend, we covered a festival ran by the philanthropic organization AQUA. Then they had their own festival in Providence, but now they've taken a giant step to hosting the main stage at Imagine Music Festival.
Their 3D hologram water show is quite the site to behold. With acts like our friends Adventure Club, Snails and Borgore, as well as the likes of Dillon Francis, Black Tiger Sex Machine and Zeds Dead, Imagine is set to be one of the most exciting this Summer.
Not only does AQUA provide a state of the art experience, but they are also here to provide water to communities in need. Part of their mission this festival will entail a new charity system called Pocket Change. It's easy for festival goers to participate, as all they need to do is donate the change in their pockets. You know, the change that you just throw in your car and never use.
All that change can go a long way. For starters, a nickel can provide over a day of clean water to a child in Ghana. If you're already headed to the festival, be on the lookout for the AQUA team, and if you're thinking about going last minute... get a ticket asap!
