The most recent artist who is using their platform good goes to Grammy-award winning DJ/producer Diplo (real name Thomas Wesley Pentz). This week he's paired up with the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Trina's Kids Foundation to host Thomas Wesley's 1st Annual Holiday Toy Roundup.

everyone deserves a little something during the holidays. i’m partnering with @trinaskids foundation to be a small part of helping kids have a better christmas. bring new toys and gently used clothes to hubble studio (545 s clarence street in la) now until saturday 1pm for my first annual toy drive. would mean a lot to me, the team, and the family if you popped on down

Holidays are a time for giving. There really is no better feeling than helping out families in need during the stressful holiday season. 

Led by founder Vince Ricci, TKF was created to help out poverty-stricken youth overcome the challenges they face in life. The team works with funding programs and residential services in Los Angeles that direct low-income adolescents toward, productive, happy and healthy lives. Other programs the foundation have worked on include Runway Wonderland, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Back2School, Endless Possibilities, and the Around The World program.
