Earlier this week we lost one of the most prolific athletes in history, Kobe Bryant alongside eight others including his 13-year-old daughter Gigi in a horrific helicopter crash. In the wake of the tragic accident came an outcry of sadness felt around the world. Among those who shared their grief was former Laker teammate Shaquille O'Neal.
The basketball legend-turned dubstep DJ took to his socials to share a letter expressing his pain and decision on whether or not to continue on with his annual Shaq's Fun House. He expressed that after weighing it out he thought to himself, what would Kobe do? O'Neal realized he would want the show to go on. He also announced that he plans to donate all proceeds from the show to the victims' surviving family members as well as the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation.
