Insomniac Donates $70,000 to the Las Vegas Education Community

The Insomniac team is spreading their love passed music festivals. Although they host the biggest EDM events in the world, they also take time to give back to many communities. This year, the Insomniac Cares movement donated to the charity Communities in Schools of Southern Nevada. Learn more about this organization here

Since forming in 2011, the festival producers have contributed to over 30 charities. Now, they are giving back to the city where they host their largest music festival in the world, EDC. The $70,000 donation will go to CIS in hopes that students will gain more confidence at school. Although many students are brought up in low-income communities, this contribution will strive to make them optimistic about the future. CIS's goal is to provide mentorship, counseling, and resources that will help kids defy adversity.

Insomniac Cares was established in 2015 and has raised half a million dollars since then. They have accumulated over $2 million to charities and non-profit organizations since forming in 2011. On top of that, $1 for every festival ticket purchased goes straight to their favorite charities.
