Saturday, April 20th marks one year since the music community lost Swedish megastar Avicii. The dance pioneer's legacy stands the test of time and Los Angeles shared that belief in a gracious way.
Standing tall along Sunset Boulevard is a simple yet powerful billboard. The black banner has Avicii's logo and reads "TIM BERGLING: 1989 - FOREVER" underneath. The signage shows no evidence which agency was involved with the campaign.
Avicii, formerly known as Tim Bergling, took his own life in Muscat, Oman at only 28 years old. Since then, his friends and family transformed his website into a memorial, allowing fans to leave their fondest memories and heartfelt messages to the late artist.
Last week, Bergling's posthumous single, "SOS", was released to the public. His family also announced they will share his last album titled "Tim" this summer.
