Chicago-based DJ duo Louis the Child is one of these extraordinary cases of genuine musicians shining above the rest. Robby Halderon (21) and Freddy Kennet (20) offer a unique twist to the future bass style genre with their raw musical talent and playful demeanor both on and off stage. This, no doubt, helped the young pair grow their fan base exponentially, now raking in a following of over 370K followers on Soundcloud and Instagram combined, while also averaging roughly 2.3MM monthly listeners on Spotify. It really is no surprise that in less than a year they’ve gone from performing quaint venue sizes of 800 or less capacity to selling out those that can accommodate well over 5,000, all the while still delivering equally, if not more, intimate performances to their fans.

To top it off, “Go,” the first song off their Love is Alive EP, was recently used in Apple’s latest iPad-Pro commercial and, just last week, nearly a dozen European shows were announced, commencing this February in Zurich, Switzerland.
