Porter Robinson Announces An Additional Date For Second Sky

Porter Robinson has cultivated a devoted fan base, and his debut festival Second Sky just proved how loyal they really are. On Wednesday, Robinson’s festival sold out in a matter of minutes. Shortly after, Goldenvoice and Robinson decided to add a second show for the diehards.

Last week, the electronic music connoisseur announced to the world he had curated the festival. The DJ/Producer truly underestimated the high demand for the Oakland event. According to his Twitter account, he wrote: “This was honestly like 5x the amount of people than we expected...it sold out instantly".

About 2 weeks ago, Robinson titled the festival Multiverse. However, Oakland had an event with an almost identical name so the locals wrote a letter kindly asking Robinson's team to change it. They agreed and renamed it Second Sky.

Unfortunately, due to other obligations, G Jones will not be performing at the second event and another artist will replace him. The release date for the second wave of tickets has yet to be announced.

The upcoming event will feature Madeon, Cashmere Cat, Nina Las Vegas, and more.
