Its been 7 years since Skrillex joined forces with Bridges for Music to build a music production school in Langa South Africa. Today, the music guru shared to Twitter the major development of the school since it was founded in 2012.
In the pictures, students have dozens of monitors, keyboards, headphones and musical instruments at their fingertips. Skrillex, real name Sonny, believes music is a language that transcends all boundaries, which is why he felt compelled to bring a school to South Africa.
Bridges for Music is an English, not-for-profit charity that breaks down international boundaries through electronic music. Notable DJ/producers Richie Hawtin and Luciano are also among the organization's ambassadors.
