With the announcement of their upcoming lineup, CRSSD has momentarily taken us out of this chilly weather and put us into a Spring mentality. San Diego's staple event will be returning in March of 2022, for two days of music at Waterfront Park.
This year's lineup came at us with full force - revealing names such as British indie-rock phenoms Glass Animals, as well as a touch of the London scene with Four Tet, and a heavier focused set from Ben UFO b2b Joy Orbison.
Additional names on this edition's lineup include Gorgon City, who will showcase their chart-topping ‘Olympia’ album, Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet who are bringing their Get Real super-project, a b2b from Russian favorite Nina Kraviz and German selector Helena Hauff, Detroit legend Jeff Mills, and fast-rising vocalist and bassist Blu DeTiger.
When you're not jamming out at one of CRSSD's iconic three stages, you can enjoy craft cocktails and food from a variety of different vendors -- the beer lineup at CRSSD can almost be just as exciting as the music lineup. You can also do some crate digging at Stellar Remnant's pop up record shop, where you're guaranteed to find some absolute smashing records.
There is a lot to look forward to with the announcement of what will be the first spring edition of CRSSD since 2020. This widely-adored festival will be delivering nothing but exceptional house, techno, and live acts over the course of the weekend. While you plan your daytime takeover, make sure to also keep an eye out for the CRSSD After Dark programming to be announced!
